BUILDING 22 - TRIGA FUEL FABRICATION FACILITY (TFFF) RELEASE TO UNRESTRICTED USE (TAC NO. L31148)
Dear Dr. Asmussen:
l' in accordance with your application dated March 23,1999, which replaced your previous December 22,1998, submittal, and pursuant to Part 70 to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Materials License SNM-696 is hereby amended to release Building 22 (TFFF) to unrestricted use.
We have reviewed your March 23,1999, request to remove the TRIGA fuel fabrication facility (TFFF), Building 22 from your license and release to unrestricted use. You suppo:ted your request with the report entitled, " Final Radiological Surveys Performed at General Atomics
- Building 22," dated March 19,1999. Our review has determined that there is reasonable assurance that the release of Building 22 TFFF for unrestricted use will not adversely affect public health and safety or the environment.
l Accordingly, Safety License Condition S-1 has been revised to include the date of March 23, 1999, (TFFF).
If, in the future, you desire to use licensed materials and conduct licensed activities in these facilities you must request an amendment to your license.
