Gentlemen:
This letter refers'to an unannounced routine safeguards inspection of your activities authorized by NRC License Number SNM-696, conducted by Mr. A..D.
McQueen of this office on November 9 - 13, 1987.. It also refers to the discussion of our inspection findings held by. the inspector with you and members of the GA Technologies, Inc., staff on November 13, 1987.
Areas examined during the inspection include activities related to physical 1
I protection as described in the enclosed inspection report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective. examinations of procedures and records, interviews with facility personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
In accordance with Section 2.790(d) of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, documentation of the findings of your safeguards and security measures are exempt from public disclosure; therefore, the enclosed inspection report will not be placed in the Public Document Room and will receive limited distribution.
We have determined that the enclosures so designated contain Safeguards Information and therefore are subject to the controls of 10 CFR 73.21.'
