Dear Mr. Britz:
During your recent inspection at General Atomics, you had intended to review teaain training records for personnel involved in packaging and shipping low level waste to the DOE Nevada Test Site, inasmuch as othir priorities precluded you from having time to review such records during your inspection, GA (Mr. Fritz Dahms) offered to have copies of such records sent to you. Accordingly, enclosed please find copies of representative training records for several personnel involved with such packaging and shipping activities.
The enclosed information contains the following:
1.
Report entitled "D&D Projects, training for Packaging and Shipping to Nevada Test Site,"
dated August 20,1999
- 2. Copy of Section 5," Operators Qualifications" of Procedure FMP-1828 Rev. I," Packaging Solid Waste"
- 3. Copy of Section 7," Operator Qualifications" of Procedure FMP-1832 Rev. B, " Radioactive Waste Shipments to the NTS" 4.
Copies of required training records for:
Two packaging / shipping operators (Mr. B. Hoag and Mr. M. Kinder)
Two waste observers (Mr. D. Aguirre and Mr. F. Ranck)
Two waste certification officials (Mr. A. Fudel and Mr. V. Nicolayeff)
Waste manager (Mr. R. DeVelasco)
Note: When periodic refresher training is required, the training documentation provided in this package is only for the latest refresher training.
