Dear Dr. Asmussen:
In accordance with your application dated A)ril 30, 1997, and pursuant to Part 70 to Title 10 of the Code of federal Regulations. Materials License SNM 696 is hereby amended to delete certain "non impacted" areas as locations of authorized use of licensed materials. Accordingly Condition 5 1 has been revised to include the date of April 30. 1997.
We have reviewed your April 30 request to remove the "non impacted" areas from your license for unrestricted use. Our review has determined that there is reasonable assurance that the release of the "non aimpacted" areas for unrestricted use will not adversely affect public health and safety or the environment.
If, in the future, you desire to use licensed materials and conduct licensed activities in these areas you must submit an application.

Dear Dr. Asmussen:
In accordance with your application dated April 30, 1997, and pursuant to !
Part 70 to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Materials License -
SNM 696 is hereby amended to delete certain "non impacted" areas as locations- !
of authorized use of licensed materials. Accordingly. Condition S-1 has been !
revised to include the date of April 30. 1997. .
We have reviewnd your April 30 request to remove the "non-impacted" areas from -
your license-for unrestricted use. Our review has determined that there is l reasonable assurance that the release of the "non-impacted" areas ;vr <
, unrestricted use will not adversely affect puDlic health and safety or the ,
environment. !
If. in the future, you desire to use licensed materials and conduct licensed activities in these areas you must submit an application. l
