REQUEST TO RELEASE BUILDING 35 FOR UNRESTRICTED USE (TAC NO. L31115).
Dear Dr. Asmussen:
We have reviewed your application dated September 30,1998, requesting the release of
- Building 35 for unrestricted use.
We have determined that the Nuclear Regulatory Commission need not amend your license as requested because the request is more appropriately considered in your State of California license. This determination is based upon the fact that material associated with this facility is wholly byproduct material and not material considered under your 10 CFR Part 70 Materials License SNM-696.
1 Accordingly, no further action will be taken on release of Building 35 by the NRC.
l All other conditions of this license shall remain the same.
