Subject: Inspection Report 50-271/84-11 On September 4,1985, a meeting was held at the NRC Region I office, at your request, to discuss the installation of containment high range radiation l monitors relative to the specifications of NUREG-073 Such installation was previously identified to be in noncompliance with applicable regulatory requirements in NRC correspondence dated August 17, 198 Since that time, a NRC Safety Evaluation which confinned the finding, was provided to you in correspondence dated July 16, 1985. Such correspondence required a response within thirty days to the violation in accordance with 10 CFR50.54(f).
