The "Results" section of the cover sheet of this-report stated, in part, "The Licensee is complying with the ATWS Rule 10 CFR 50.62."-
This statement is not correct and should have stated "No-l deficiencies were identified in the licensee's implementation of. its design l
change to comply with 10 CFR 50.62."

A specific technical issue,keediversity of installed ATWS equipment, remains

outstanding for Vermont Yan and other boiling water reectors.
Final compliance with the ATWS rule cannot be confirmed until such issues have been resolved with the NRC.
