Dear Mr. Wanczyk:
By letter dated April 20,1999, you applied for an amendment to the Vermont Yankee Nuclear f
Power Station Operating License No. DPR-28. The proposed change would have modified the facility technical specifications pertaining to the reloading and unloading sequence of fuelin the reactor core when all fuelis removed from the core. Subsequently, by letter dated August 18, 1999, you superseded, in its entirety, the April 20 request with a new change, thereby withdrawing the arnendment request.
The Commission has filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Amendment to Facility Operating License with the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
