This acknowledges the receipt of your referenced letters by which you j transmitted changes to the GA Security Officer Training and Qualification l Plan, the GA Safeguards Contingency Plan, the GA Category I Shutdown Facility Physical Protection Plan dated May, 1985, and the GA Category II & III Physical Protection Plan. This latter plan is also referred to as the " Fixed Site and Transportation Plan for the Protection of Special Nuclear Material of Moderate and Low Strategic Significance" dated February, 1983.

Unfortunately, due to significantly more licensing cases than had been forecast for Region V, we are unable to complete our review of your referenced letters in a timely manner. Accordingly, your letters, with l enclosures, have been forwarded to the NRC Headquarters Division of Safeguards I and Transportation, NMSS, who will be completing the 10 CFR Part 70.32 reviews and will correspond with you directly.

The enclosures to your letters, as identified above, which were indicated as containing Proprietary Information are being withheld from public disclosure and must be protected and controlled in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 2.790.
