Subject: NRC Inspection of the Trojan Nuclear Plant

This refers to'the inspection conducted by Mr. G. C. Kellund of this office on

December 7, 1986 - January 17, 1987 of' activities authorized by HRC License

No. NPF-1, and to the discussion of our findings held by Mr. Kellund with Mr.

Olmstead and other members of your staff periodically.during the inspection.

Areas examined during this inspection are described in the enclosed inspection

report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective

examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with

personnel, and observations by the inspectors. '

Within the scope of this inspection, no violations of NRC requirements were

identified.

In accor' dance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of'this letter and the enclosures- ~

will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room. .
