Dear Mr. Quennoz:

Enclosed is a copy of the Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant impact related to your application for an exemption and license amendment dated January 29,1998.

The proposed exemption and license amendment would delete the security plan requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(p) and 10 CFR 73.55 after the spent nuclear fuelis moved to the Trojan independent spent fuel storage installation (ISFSI).

The assessment is being forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
