- The NRC staff has completed its evaluation of the need for ammonia detection capability for protection of control room personnel at the Trojan Nuclear
.i Plant.
Our review was based on information provided in letters dated March 2,.1982, March.31,.1983, February 24, 1984, February 12, 1985, September 30, 1986, and March 2, 1988.
From our evaluation of the information provided and 1
discussions with your staff. to clarify-information= contained in your submittals, j
we conclude that in_strumented ammonia detection capability-is not necessary for protection of control room personnel at Trojan.
A copy of our safety evaluation on this issue is enclosed.
This concludes our-4 action on this issue.
