LICENSEE RESPONSE TO NRC BULLETIN 89-03 ON "POTENf!AL LOSS OF REQUIREDSHUTDOWNMARGINDURINGREFUELINGOPERATIONS"(TACNO.75468)
By letter dated January 26, 1990, PortlandGeneralElectricCompany(PGE) responded to NRC Bulletin 89-03.
In its response, PGE addressed each of the three action items described in the Bulletin and confirmed that an adequate shutdown margin is maintained during all refueling o>erations.
From our review, we conclude that the actions taken for the tiree items are appropriate to provide reasonable assurance against the concerns expressed by the Bulletin, and are acceptable. This concludes our review of your response to Bulletin 89-03 for the Trojan Nuclear Plant.
