requested by you is encloseo. In addition to your requested information, I am also enclosing two Regulatory Guides which address the qualification, selection and training of inspection personnel, which responds to one of your concerns. I am also enclosing a copy of Title 10, Parts 0 to 199 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) which includes all the appendices to Part 50 you have requested.

Please note that Appendix E to 10 CFR 50 does not address intimidation of

QA/QC inspectors. Section 235 of the Ammended Atomic Energy Act provides for the protection of QA/QC personnel. This information is required to be posted at your site (Form NRC-3), and should be available to all workers at the site.

Reporting of deficiencies and the time period required for reports of these deficiencies to be sent to the NRC, can be found in 10 CFR Part 21 (pgs. 243

& 244) and 10 CFR Part 50.55(e) (pg. 388). Please nc.te that Part 21 and Part 50 deficiencies have different time reporting requirements for reporting to the NRC.

More information'on the specific differences of these reporting requirements can be obtained from the resident inspector at your site.
