Drawings,shall be marked with pre-established Area Control Numbers if applicable (Exhibit B).
8.
Document Transmittals (Exhibit C) shall be prepared for drawings to be distributed. The DC Section shall retain the suspense copy, two (2) copies shall be signed by the Re-sponsible Holder and the original returned to the DC Section for the transtnittal file.
Upon receipt of the signed original the suspense copy is disposed of.
See Paragraph 4.19 for handling of documents in the field by the Field Document Control Group.
4.2 Revised Drawings DOCUMENT CONTROL MANAGER

The DRDC indicates the total distribution for the preceding

The DRDC shall be checked and Document Trans-mittals prepared for each Responsible Holder of the pre-ceding revision.
(Distribution of Revised Drawings to q3,y Contractors shall be in accordance with Paragraph 4.14, this TA' procedure.)

Superseded aperture cards shall be marked, " VOID", and placed in the DC Section VOID History File.

Superseded drawing copies shall be accounted for, returned to the DC Section recorded on the DRDC and disposed of with

5.2 Lost, drawings shall be accounted for by use of the

' respon~sible holder and. recorded on the DRDC. The Form shall only be signed by the Responsible Holder.

Upon receipt of a revision to an applicable drawing with
. open ;- Drawing Change Notice (s) -(DCN), Engineering Change Notice (s) (ECN), Design Document Change Notice (s) (DDCN), or
- Approved Field Change Request (FCR), Construction Variance
. Request (CVR), Middle Third Deviation Notice (MTDN), Startup Field Request (SFR), the current revision drawing repro-ducible shall be stamped with the Status Card Stamp (Exhibit F) and the open DCN's/ECN's/DDCN's, FCR's/CV.R's/MTDN's/SFR's 1
entered prior to.the print run.

The DCN/ECN/FCR/CVR Status Card and Status Card Stamp includes but is not limited to the following entries:
MTDN. Middle Third Deviation Notice DDCN,, Design Document Change. Notice
.SFR - Startup Field Request (0) 4.3 Westinghouse (W.E.) Drawings v

Westinghouse (W.E.) Drawings and FCN's are not used for Construction until they are received from Bechtel with a Bechtel Drawing Number assigned.
Upon receipt the Draw-ings/FCN's are handled in acccrdance with Paragraph 4.1 or 4.2 as applicable.

Drawing Aperture Cards received direct from W.E. are checked against the transmittal, date stamped, marked "INFORMATION ONLY NOT FOR CONSTRUCTION" (Exhibit R), and filed in the applicable W.E. Drawing Aperture Card File.
3.
W.E. drawings approved in accordance with Paragraph 2 shalI be stamped, "INFORMATION ONLY NOT FOR CONSTRUCTION". Dis-tribution shall be by Document Transmittel.

ON MARCH 14,1983,s A CURRENT DANIEL INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR ALLEGED THAT HIS ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT SUPERVISOR IS PREVENTING AND/0R DISCOURAGING QC INSPECTORS FROM WRITING NCRs.
THE ALLEGER CITED ONE EXAMPLE WHEREIN A C0-WORKER REPORTED HE COULD NOT INSPECT AN ELECTRICAL PIECE OF EQUIPMENT AND THE QC SUPERVISOR ORDERED HIM T0 " SIGN OFF"HIS INSPECTION.
