Dear Ms. Hill:

The Office of Inspector and Auditor looked into the concerns in your Parch 13, 1986, letter to George Mulley of this office that allegations you gave to the NRC on January 14, 1985, were not handled appropriately. Our inquiry deter-mined that the Office of Investigations (01) Field Office, Pegion IV, NRC, was unable to initially respond to your inquiry because the documentation you requested might have adversely affected an ongoing 01 investigation at Yolf Creek.

On January 22, 1987, the Office of Investigations informed OlA that copies of the synopsis portions of 01 Investigation Reports 4-85-011, 4-05-01? and 4-85-013, along with the narrative of 01 Assist to NRC Inspection A4-85-004 have been sent to you. We hope these reports will resolve your concerrs.
