BEAVER VALLEY UNITS 1 AND 2 - SALEM ATWS EVENT ITEM 1.2, "POST-TRIP REVIEW" (TAC NOS. 53569 AND 62951)

By letters dated October 17, 1985 and July 22, 1986 we issued the draft Technical Evaluation Reports (TER) on the subject issue for Beaver Valley Units 1 and 2, respectively. The draft TERs documented our evaluatic'; of your initial submittals (dated November 4, 1983 and March 30,1984) on the subject issue, and identified needed additional information for us to complete the review.

By letters dated November 14, 1985 and March 22, 1988 you responded to the TERs. We have completed review of your response and consider the subject issue closed for Beaver Valley Units 1 and 2. Details of our review may be found in the enclosed Supplemental Safety Evaluations.

We understand that the actions that you described in your letters have all been implemented. Therefore, there is no further need for us to track '
