SAFEGUARDS REVIEW REPORT - LICENSEE CATEGORY II & III PHYSICAL PROTECTION PLAN REVISION: DN 70-734, RV CASEWORK CONTROL NUMBER 0700734-34JY

Background:

With a letter dated March 11, 1988, General Atomics (GA) submitted a change to the GA Category II & III Physical Protection Plan. This plan is also referred to as the "Fixed Site and Transportation Plan for the Protection of Special Nuclear Material of Moderate and Low Strategic Significance" dated February, 1983.

This change reflects a change of the company name from GA Technologies, Inc.

to General Atomics as previously noted by letter K. E. Asmussen (GA) to J. 8. Martin (NRC) dated March 9, 1988.

Evaluation:

1. Revision - (Page viii) Reflects a company name change officially reported to the NRC by memo dated March 9, 1988.

Coment -

This change involves an editorial change only with no change in comitments or organizational structure.

This change is considered cosmetic in nature and is acceptable.
