This refers to the routine security insoection conducted by Mr. G. C. Smith of -

, this office on November 23-25, 1987, of activities authorized by NRC License

Nos. DPR-66 and NPF-23 and to the discussions of our findings held by Mr. Smith

with you and members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection. '

Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I

, Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the

inspectioi, consisted of selective examinations of procedures and  !

i representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the

j inspector.

Within the scope of this inspection, ne, violations were observed.

Paragraphs 6, 9 and 12 of the enclosed inspection report contain details of

your security program that have been determined to be exempt from public

disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21 (Safeguards Information).

Therefore, they will not be placed in the NRC 'ublic Document Room and will

receive limited distribution. This letter and the remainder of the inspection

report will be placed in the Public Document Room, in accordance with 10 CFR
