Dear Dr. Murley:
In reference (b) Commonwealth Edison requested the deletion of the February 28, 1980 Confirmatory Order that was transmitted in reference (a).
Reference (c) transmitted a request for additional information regarding six specific Order items.
Reference (d) provided the Commonwealth Edison response to the request.
This letter requests that the proposed amendment regarding the deletion of the Confirmatory Order be withdrawn at this time.
During the April 4, 1990, meeting held in Washington regarding the _
Confirmatory Order, the specific information required for the recision of the Order was discussed.
Commonwealth Edison plans to submit justification for each item in the Order that will include eight proposed Technical Specification Amendments to support the request for recision of the Confirmatory Order.
That request will be submitted in the fall of 1990.
Therefore, Commonwealth Edison requests that the proposed amendment to i
delete the Confirmatory Order be withdrawn at this time.
