Enclosure 7 to E-61864 DESCRIPTION OF AMENDMENT 18 CHANGES NOT RELATED TO RAIs INTRODUCTION The scope of Amendment 18 to the Standardized NUHOMS Certificate of Compliance (CoC)

No. 1004 has been modified as described below.

Change No. 1:

An additional scope item has been added to allow use of a blended Portland-Limestone cement that would be certified to the requirements of ASTM C595. The reason for this change is that the cement supplier, as of January 2023, will no longer provide cement in accordance with ASTM C150 as the supplier is transitioning to a cement with a smaller carbon footprint that includes 10%

limestone. This change supports continued HSM fabrication activities.

In support of this additional scope, changes have been made to UFSAR Sections 4.2, Storage Structures; 4.10, References; P.4.4.8, Evaluation of HSM-H Performance; Chapters R.3, Evaluation of HSM Model 152 Concrete Components with Temperature exceeding Code Limits; R.4, Evaluation of HSM Model 152 Concrete Temperatures; V.3, Evaluation of HSM Model 202 Concrete Components with Temperature exceeding Code Limits; and V.4, Table V.4-2 Notes.

Change No. 2:

An editorial correction has been made to delete a duplicate word (the) in the revised table notes associated with Appendix B Technical Specifications Section 3.1.3 as provided in the initial submittal.

Change No. 3:

In support of the submittal associated with Amendment 16, Revision 6 (see ML19255E934), the response associated with Request for Additional Information (RAI) Sh-1 deleted certain notes (examples) that were no longer applicable to Technical Specification (TS) Fuel Qualification Tables 1-7k and 1-7m. The examples themselves were deleted, but the lead-in sentences before the deleted examples were inadvertently not deleted as intended. Accordingly, the sentences below the bullets have been deleted from the Notes for Tables 1-7k and 1-7m to correct this.
