We are forwarding via a special shipment, 300 copies of the LACBWR Environmental Report DPC-ED-3. This report is submitted to you in support of a forthcoming application for a full-tern operating authorization for LACBWR. The report is written to satisfy the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act as specified in your requirements in Appendix D of 10CFR-50.

It is our intention to submit an addendum to this report in early 1973, updating operating information and environmental monitoring data from the end date of the report, August 1, 1972 through December 3), 1972. This addendum will take into account recent fuel performance, releases of radioactivity to the environment, and associated environmental impact.
