Nonconforming Materials Supplied by Piping Suppliers, Inc. at Folsom, New Jersey and West Jersey Manufacturing Company at Williamstown. New Jersey

REFERENCES:

(1) NRC Letter, Charles E. Rossi to All Holders of Operating Licenses or Construction Permits for liuclear Power Reactors datid May 6, 1988 (8804290255).

(2) NRC Letter, Charles E. Rossi to All Holders of Operating Licenses or Construction Permits for Nuclear Power Reactors, dated June 15, 1988 (8806150186).

Due to the permanent shutdown of LACBWR and the issuance of a possession-only license, the significance of non-conforming pressure boundary material generates little or no concern with respect to nuclear safety.

Although applicability of subject bulletin (References 1 and 2) to LACBWR is not a concern, a review of procurement documents was performed for informational purposes only. This review indicated that no procurement documents were issued to Piping Supply, Inc. during the period 1 January 1985 to present nor West Jersey Manufacturing Company during the period 1 January 1976 to present.

No additional actions are deemed necessary regarding this bulletin for LACBWR.
