CONFIPMATION OF HARDWARE DESIGN INFORMATION - SPDS A review of our files relating to the design of the Safety Parameter Display System (SPDS) reveals that certain information pertinent to our evaluation of the system design was obtained through telephone conversations with your staff. We are now in the process of documenting our evaluation but have identified the need for some of this information to be on, the docket.

Accordingly, we request that you submit the following:

1. A block diagram of the SPDS that contains and identifies Class IE-to-non-class IE interfaces.

2. The classification (IE or non-1E) and point of application of the power source'for the SPDS major hardware and each isolation device.

3. A schematic diagram for each type isolation device.

Please provide the requested information not later than March 10, 1987. The information requested in this letter affects fewer than ten respondents; there-fore, OMB clearance is not required under P.L.95-511.
