DAVIS-BESSE INSPECTION REPORT 50-346/98014(DRP)
Dear Mr. Wood:
On September.18,1998, the NRC completed an inspection at your Davis-Besse site. The
enclosed report presents the results of that inspection.
Conscientious and safe operation of the facility was observed during the inspection period.
Plant equipment operated as designed and operators were not presented with any abnormal
operating conditions. Online safety equipment outages were performed well and in accordance
with established procedures. Challenges during the outages were efficiently handled and
safety equipment was restored to service within the allotted outage times.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its
enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
