This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Conunission (NRC) inspection conducted by A. Ruff and other NRC representatives on October 5-9, 198 The inspection included a review of activities authorized for your North Anna facilit At I the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with those I members of your staff identified in the enclosed inspection repor Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the repor Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of EQ procedures and records, interviews with personnel, inspection of selected plant equipment and other observations by the inspector The violations described in the enclosed Inspection Report are under consideration for escalated enforcement action. Accordingly, no Notice of Violation is being issued at this time, and no response to this letter is required. However, please be advised that the number and ch 'racterization of violations described in the enclosed Inspection Report may .ge as a result of further NRC review. An Enforcement Conference to discuss these violations will be scheduled at a future date.
