NORTH ANNA POWER STATION, UNIT 1 AND UNIT 2 - REVISION TO REACTOR VESSEL SURVEILLANCE CAPSULE WITHDRAWAL SCHEDULE (TAC NOS. MA4476 AND MA4477)

Dear Mr. O'Hanlon:

The purpose of this letter is to approve your proposed revisions of the schedule for withdrawal of reactor vessel surveillance capsules.

By letter dated December 17,1998, you submitted for NRC approval a proposed revision to the capsule withdrawal schedules for North Anna Units 1 and 2. We have reviewed your proposed revision and concluded that it satisfies the requirements of Appendix H to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Reaulations Part 50; therefore, it is acceptable to the staff. Our safety evaluation is enclosed.

This completes our effort on this issue, and we are closing TAC Nos. MA4476 and MA4477.
