system pipe supports identified during the safety system engineering inspection documented in NRC Inspection Report numbers.50-338/98-05 and 50-339/98-05. A list of attendees and a 1

i i-copy of your presentation handout are enclosed.

It is our opinion that this meeting was beneficial in that it provided an opportunity for discussion of the possible causes of the weld discrepancies and their_ safety significance. Based on

. discussions during the meeting, it is our understanding that you will respond to the inspection report findings by December 21,1998.
