HRC BULLETIN 88 04, POTENTIAL SAFETY-RELATED PUMP LOSS, NORTH ANNA POWER STATION, UNITS NO. 1 AND NO. 2 (NA-1&2) (TAC NOS. 69942 AND69943)

By letters dated August 8, 1988 and June 13, 1990, you responded to the subject NRC Bulletin as notad above. Your response of June 13, 1990, confirmed that all long-term actions associated with the issues in the Bulletin, including a modification to change the minimum flow recirculation lines for pump testing, i

will have been completed by the end of the 1990/1991 refueling outages for NA-2&l, respectively.

In accordance with the Bulletin, a written response describing the actions taken is to be submitted to the NRC within 30 days of completion of the long-term actions. You are reminded that an evaluation of your actions in response to the subject Bulletin.should be documented and H

maintained at NA-182 for a minimum for 2 years.

Accordingly, since your responses have addressed the issues in the Bulletin, l

we are closing the subject TACs.

Further NRC review, if any, will be by_

future auditing.
