Dear Mr. O'Hanlon:
On July 23. 1998, the NRC completed an inspection at your North Anna Plant.
The enclosed report presents the results of that inspection.
.
During the week of July 20-23, 1998, an inspection team observed selected
portions of your emergency organization's response in key facilities during
the emergency preparedness plume exposure exercise conducted on July 21. 1998.
The emergency response observed during the simulated accident was considered
satisfactory.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice." a copy of
this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC.Public Document Room.
