LICENSED OPERATOR REQUALIFICATION TESTING PROGRAM Gentlemen:
In a telephone conversation on August 11, 1988, between myself and Mr. R. R. Frisch of your staff the licensed operator requalification testing program at Big Rock Point was discussed. This letter is being forwarded to you as agreed to confirm that NRC cdministered requalification examinations will not be conducted during your upcoming annual examination period.
In order for us to schedule future examinations, it is requested that you send us an outline of your revised program and a planned implementation schedule.
The required content of the revised program was outlined in a NUITARC sponsored workshop in Chicago on July 26-27, 1988.
