SAFETY EVALUATION PELATED TO APPLICATION FOR DISPOSAL OFDREDGEDDISCilARGECANALSEDIMENT(TACNO.75589)
Dy letter dated December 29, 1989, Consumers Power Company requested NRC approval of procedures for.the onsite disposal of dredged discharge canal sediment from the Big Rock Point Plant. The results of the staff review are provided in the enclosed Safety Evaluation.
The staff has found that, pursuant to 10 CFR 20.302,-your proposed procedures are acceptable subject to the conditions detailed in the evaluation.
