, Consumers Energy letter dated September 19,1997 involved a Facility Operating License and Technical Specification Change Request. This request was made due to the Big Rock Point
- Plant permanently tenninating plant operations and entering decommissioning.
It was our desire to add words to the license that would indicate that Big Rock Point was in decommissioning. Mr. Paul Harris of the NRC has brought to our attention that the requested additional words " decommissioning of" could be interpreted to limit the scope of the license beyond what was originally intended. This was not our intent so we respectfully request that the words " decommissioning of" in the first sentence of paragraph A of the Facility Operating License, License No. DPR-6 be removed from our request of September 19,1997.
