OUT-0F-CORE POWER RANGE INSTRUMENTATION (TAC NO. 66655)

The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 91 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-6 for the Big Rock Point Plant. This amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application dated November 9, 1987.

This amendment changes the Technical Specifications to reflect the features and terminology used with new out-of-core power range instrumentation.

You should perform indeoendent, post-implementation verification reviews of the software, as discussed in :>ction 4.0(2) of the enclosed Safety Evaluation, and report the results and find mos of those reviews to the NRC within 120 days of receipt of this document.
