C. ENTRY CONDITION This procedure is entered from Alternative Safe Shutdown index ASSD-01.

1. A fire has occurred in an area containing Alternative Safe Shutdown Train A equipment,

2. The Shift Foreman has determined that the reactor is to be brought to Cold Shutdown using Alternative Safe Shutdown Train B.

The purpose of this procedure is to provide supplementel actions to be used concurrently with E0P's and other operations procedures to achieve * -"

_ 1. IF while executing this procedure, the fire is extinguished AND Ific Shif t Foreman determines that no action wif.hin this procedure is required. THEN EXIT this procedure.

2. OBSERV6 the following parameters on instruments indicated while performing actions to achieve and maintain cold shutdown.

3. IF reactor building AND/OR diesel generator building AND/OR service water building entry is required to restore fmoWtor eqrtipment , _TJgN
a. DISPATCH the following minimum manpower for performance of this procedure:

b. OBTAIN the following keys from the 505 Key Locker 'l (1) ASSD Equipment Cabinet Key #148 (1) ASSD Flashlight Tool 80,, Key #160 AND PROCURE the following equipment f rom the ASSD Equipment Cabinet:

For Diesel Generator Building (1) Flashlight (1) Copy of this procedure (1) Security Access Key (14) Door wedge blocks For Reactor Building (2) Flashlights (2) Copies of this procedure (4) Remote Shutdown Keys, Scrial T112 (2) Security Access Keys (2) Sound powered phones (2) Twenty-five foot sound powered phone extension cords ,

For Service Water Building g 3,g (1) Flashlight

- (1) Sound powered phone (1) Copy of this procedure

~ (1) Security Access Key (1) Twenty-five foot sound powered phone extension cord

c. USE appropriate figures in this procedure to provide access / egress routes, equipment and communication locations. (Normal communications may not be available.)
4. PLACE Reactor Water Level "NORMAL / LOCAL" switch, 2-B21-C5-3345

'at the Re' note Shutdown Panel, to the "LOCAL" position to make level indicator 2-B21-L1-R604BX operable.

5. IF Diesel Generator operation is required, THEN BLOCK "0 PEN" Tfesel Generator Building doors, as indicated on Attachment 1, to establish ventilation for Diesel Generator operations.
6. VERIFY a flow path DOES NOT exist from the nuclear to conventional header through Conventional Service Water Pump 2A Discharge Valves by performing the following:
a. PLACE the breaker control switch in the OFF position for Conventional Service Water Pump 2A Discharge Valve To Conventional Header, 2-SW V13. at MCC 2PA compartment E07.

b. PLACE the breaker control switch in the OFF position for Conventional Service Water Pump 2A Discharge Valve To Nuclear Header, 2-SW-V14, at MCC 2PA compartment E08.
c. VERIFY Closed OR Manually CLOSE Conventional Service Water Pump 2A TTscharge Valve to EITHER the Nuclear Header, 2 SW-V14 C) J, t Conventional Header, 2-SW-V13.
7. IF RBCCW Heat Exchangers Service Water Inlet Valve, 2-SW-V106 10(NNOT be operated from the RTGB, THEN Manually OPERATE 2-SW-V106.
8. IF Vital Header Cross-tie Valve, 2-SW-Vil8_CANNOT be operated Trom the RTGB, THEN Manually OPERATE 2-SW-Vil8.
9. IF operation of RHR service Water System is required AND RHR 3Frvice Water Booster Pumps are NOT available, THEN RTTER to OP-43.
10. IF operation of RCIC Steam Supply Inboard Isolation Valve, TIE 51 F007 is required AND power is NOT available from MCC 2XC, lHE;
a. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the OFF position for RCIC Steam Supply inboard Isolation ~ ~ ~

R S.L Valve, 2-E51-F007, at MCC 2XC compartment D54.

b. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the ON position for RCIC Steam Supply Line Isolation VaTve, 2-E51-F007, ( ASSD FEED) at MCC 2XD compartment DYl.
c. IF 2-E51-F007 is required to be Open, THEN PLACE the 10fSD Keylock Control Switch in the OPEN position, at MCC 2X0 compartment DY1.
d. IF 2-E51-F007 is required to be Closed. THC.N PLACE the 10550 Keylock Control Switch in the CLOSE position, at MCC 2XD compartment DYl.
11. IF operation of RCIC Tarbine Exhaust Vacuun Breaker Valve, 77E51-F062, is required AND power is NOT available from MCC 2XA, THEN
a. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the OFF '

position for RCIC Turbine Exhaust vacuum Breaker valve, 2-E51-F062, at MCC 2XA compartment DE4

b. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the ON position for RCIC Turbine Vacuum Breaker Valve, ~~~

2-E51-F062, ( ASSD FEED) at MCC 2XD compartment DW2.

12. IF operation of RHR Suction Isolation Valve, 2-E11-F009 is Wquired AND power is NOT available from MCC 2XA, THEN
a. VERIFY OFF OR PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the '6TF position for RHR. Suction Isolation Valve, 2-E11-FT69, at MCC 2XA compartment OH3.

13. WHEN the fire has been extinguished, THEN "0 pea" remaining doors, per Attachment 1, for additional ventilation, 88.1

a. Conventional Service Water Pump 2A Discharge Valves can be operated from normal controls THEN (1) PLACE the breaker control switch in the ON -

position for Conventional Service Water Pump 2A Discharge Valve To Conventional Header, 2-SW V13, at MCC 2PA compartment E07.

f. WHEN Diesel Generator Building doors that were opened / blocked open for Diesel Generator ventilation are no longer required to be open, THEN RESTORE all Diesel Generator Building doors that were opened on Attachment 1 to the closed position.

a. The fire is extinguished AND
b. All breakers AND/0R switches operated in this procedure are restored to their normal position AND
c. No actions within this procedure are required to achieve and maintain Cold Shutdown, THEN
d. EXIT this procedure.
