C. ENTRY CONDITION This procedure is entered from Alternative Safe Shutdown Index ASSD-01.

1. A fire has occurred in an area containing Alternative Safe Shutdown Train A equipment.

AND

2. The Shift Foreman has determined that the reactor is to be brought to Cold shutdown using Alternative Safe Shutdown Train B.

The purpose of this procedure is to provide supplemental actions to be used concurrently with E0Ps and other operations procedures to achieve- 88.l and maintain Cold Shutdown coincident with or without a 72 hour8.333333e-4 days <br />0.02 hours <br />1.190476e-4 weeks <br />2.7396e-5 months <br /> loss of off-site power.

D. OPERATOR ACTIONS

1. IF rhile executing this procedure, the fire is extinguished IsD the Shift Foreman determines that no action within this

~ procedure is required, EEN EXIT this procedure.

2. OBSERVE the following parameters on instrunents indicated while performing actions to achieve and maintain cold shutdown.

Instrunent location 1-CAC-TR-778 Suppression Pool Water Temp. (Pt. 7) Remote Shutdown Panel 1-CAC-L1-3342 Torus Level Renote Shutdown Panel 1-C32-PI-3332 Reactor Pressure Renote Shutdown Panel 1-B21-LI R604BX Reactor Water Level Remote Shutdown Panel

3. IF reactor building AhD/0R_ dies)) generator building entry is Tequired to restore 01 ronitor equipment. THEf,
a. DISPATCH the following minimum manpower for performance of this procedure:

b. OBTAIN the following keys from the shif t Foreman's key Locker t

(1) ASSD Equiament Cabinet Key 049 (1) ASSD Flas111ght Tool Box Key 1.60

c. OBTAIN Security Access Keys from SAS Security Of ficer located in the Control Room AND PROCURE the followir.g equipment from the ASSD  :

Equipment Cabinet.

For Reactor Building (2 Flashlights 2 Sound powered phones

~2 Twenty-five foot sound powered phone extension cords

4 _ PLACE Reactor Water Level "NORMAL / LOCAL" switch,1-B21-CS-3345 at the Remote Shutdown Panel, to the "LOCAL" position to make level indicator 1-821-Ll-R604BX operable.

5. IF Diesel Generator operati0n is required, THEN BLOCK "0 PEN" liTesel Generator Building doors, as indicated on Attachment 1, to establish ventilation for Diesel Generator operations.
6. IF RBCCW Heat Exchangers Service Water Inlet Valve,1-SW-V106 UNNOT be operated from the RTGB, THEN Hinually OPERATE T IkW106.

7 IF Vital Header Cross-tie Valve,1-SW-V118 CANNOT be operated TFom the RTGB, THEN Manually 0PERATE 1-SW-V118

8. IF operation of RHR Service Water System is required AND RHR Tervice Water Booster Pumps are NOT available. THEN RUTR to OP-43.

9. IF operation of RCIC Steam Supply Inboard Isolation Valve, FE51-F007 is required AND power is NOT_ available from MCC 1XC,_THEN
a. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the OFF position for RCIC Steam Supply Inboard Isolation Valve,1-E51-F007, at MCC 1XC compartment 054
b. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the ON ~

position for RCIC Steam Supply Line IGolation Valve, 1-Ebl-F007, (ASSD FEED) at MCC 1XD compartment DY1.

c. IF 1-E51 F007 is rsquired to be Open THEN PLACE We ASSD Keylock Control Switch in the7Plh position, at MCC 1XD compartment DY1.
d. IF 1-E51-F007 is required to be Closed, THEN PLACE We ASSD Keylock Control Switch in the CE0'5T position, at MCC IXD compartment DY1.
10. IF operation of RCIC Turbine Exhaust Vacuurr Breaker Valve, FE51-F062 is required AND power is NOT available from MCC

a. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the OFF position for RCIC Turbine Exhaust Vacuum Breaker Valve,1-E51-F062, at MCC 1XA compartment DE4 R B.I
b. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the ON position for RCIC Turbine Vacuum Breaker Valve, F Et1.Fn62, (ASSD FEED) at MCC 1XD compartment DW2.l

-. IF 1-E51 F062 is required to be Open, THEN PLACE We ASSD Keylock Control Switch in the 0PD position, at MCC 1XD compartment DW2.

d. IF 1-E51-F062 is required to be Closed, THEN PLACE We ASSD Keylock Control Switch in the CE63F position, at MCC 1XD compartment DW2.
11. IF operation of Shutdown Cooling Inboard Suction Throttle Talve,1-E11-F009 is required AND power is _NOT_ available from NCC 1XA, THEN
a. VERIFY OFF OR PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in tW OFF position for Shutdown Cooling Inboard SuctioTThrottle Valve,1-E11-F009, at '

b. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the ON ~

position for RRR Suction Isolation Valve, 1-E11-F009, (ASSD FEED) at HCC 1XD compartment DX5.

e. Diesel Generator Building doors that were opened / blocked open for Diesel Generator ventilation are no longer required to be open. _THEN RESTORE all Diesel Generator Building doors that were opened on Attachment 1 to the closed position.
