C. ENTRY CONDITION l This proc; dure is entered from Alternative Safe Shutdcwn Index ASSD-01.

1. A fire has occurred in an area containing Alternative Safe Shutdown Traita B equipment, AND
2. The Shift Foreman has determined that the reactor is to be brought to Cold Shutdown using Alternative Safe Shutdown Train A.

The purpote of this procedure is to provide supplemental actions to be used concurrently with E0P'S and other operations procedures to achieve RB.l.

5. ENSURE Safety Relief Valve (SRV) high/ low pressure interface is provided by performing the following:
a. OPEN ADS Relay Logic A&B Control Panel, 2-H12-P628, Circuit Breaker at 125/250V DC Distribution Panel 4B Ckt No. 11.
b. PLACE ASSD ADS Logic Power Supply Isolation Switch on panel 2-H12-P628 to ISOLATE position.
6. ENSURE Main Steamline Isolation Valve (MSIV) high/ low pressure interface is provided by performing the following:
a. PLACE Inboard MSIV AC Power Isolation Switch (keylock) on panel 2-H12-P622 in ISOL position.
b. PLACE Outboard MSIV AC Power Isolation Switch R B.J (keylock) on panel 2-H12-P623 in ISOL position,
c. OPEN the following 125V DC breakers:

(1) Inboard Isolation Valve Logic Control Panel 2-H12-P622, Circuit Breaker located at 125V DC Distribution Panel 4A Ckt 12.

(2) Outboard Isolation Valve Logic control Panel 2-H12-P623, Circuit Breaker located at 125V DC Distri6.ution Panel 4B Ckt 12.

CAUTION Performance of the following defeats HPCI high area temperature isolation logic.

a. ' PLACE HPCI Logic A Switch, B21-56A on panel

a. IF MCC 2XD is NOT accessible due to fire, THEN PLACE We circuit breaker control switch in the F position for Reactor Building MCC 2XD at 4W Unit Substation E8 compartment A08.
b. IF MCC 2XD IS accessible, THEN PLACE the circuit Weaker conTFoi switch in the OFF position for HPCI Steam Supply Inboard Isolation valve, 2-E41-F002, at MCC 2XD compartment DW1.
c. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the ON position for HPCI Steam Supply Line Isolation VaTve, 2-E41-F002, (ASSD FEED) at MCC 2XC compartment D51.
d. IF 2-E41cF002 is required to be Open, THEN PLACE the ESD Keylock Control Switch in the OPEN position, at MCC 2XC compartment 051.
e. IF 2-E41-F002 is required to be Closed, THEN PLACE We ASSD Keylock Control Switch in the CE63r M a.

@ position, at MCC 2XC compartment DSI.

9. IF operation of HPCI Turbine Exhaust Va:uum Breaker Valve, FE41-F079, is required AND 2-E41-F079 CANNOT be operated froin the RTGB g power is NOT available frcr.i MCC 2XB, THEN
a. IF MCC '2XB is NOT accessible due to fire, THEN PLACE We circuit breaker control switch in the F position for Reactor Building MCC 2XB at 4M Unit Substation E8 compartment A02.

b. IF MCC 2XB IS accessible, THEN PLACE the circuit Weaker control switch in the OFF position for HPCI Turbine Exhaust Vacuum Breaker Valve, 2-E41-F079, at MCC 2XB compartment DQO.

c. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the ON position for HPCI Turbine Vacuum Breaker Valve,'-

2-E41-F079, (ASSD FEED) at MCC 2XC compartment DT2.

d. IF 2-E41-F079 is required to be Open, THEN PLACE the ESD Keylock Control Switch in the OPENf position, at MCC 2XC compartment DT2.

10. IF operation of Suppression Pool Suction Valve, 2-E41-F042 is required and 2-E41-F042 CANNOT be operated from the RTGB due to HPCI logic interlocks, THEN
a. PLACE Valve E41-F042 Interlocks Bypass Switch, E41-SS-5401 keylock switch on panel 2-H12-P601 in BYPASS position.
b. OBSERVE amber indicating lamp above keylock switch illuminated.
c. OPERATE 2-E41-F042 as required from the RTGB.
11. VERIFY a flow path DOES NOT exist from the nuclear to conventional header through Conventional Service Water Pump 2B Discharge Valves by performing the following:
a. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the OFF position for Conventional Service Water Pump 2B Discharge Valve To Conventional Header, 2-SW-V15 at MCC 2PB compartment E36. A d .-

@- b. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the OFF position for Conventional Service Water Pump 28 Discharge Valve To Nuclear Header, 2-SW-V16, at MCC 2PB compartment E37.

c. VERIFY Closed CR Manually CLOSE Conventicnal Service Water Pump 2B TiTscharge Valve to EITHER the Nuclear Header, 2-SW-V16 g Conventional Header, 2-SW-V15.
12. PERFORM the following to prevent spurious operation of safa shutdown service water valves fe) from MCC 2XB.
a. IF MCC 2XB is NOT accessible due to fire, THEN PLACE tee circuit breaker control switch in the WT-position for Reactor Building MCC 2XB at 4 TOV Substation E8 compartment A02.

(4) PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the OFF position for Nuclear Service Water To Vital Header Inboard Isolation Valve, 2-SW-V117, at MCC 2XB compartment DP2.

c. Manually CLOSE RHR Heat Exchanger B Service Header Outlet Valve, 2-E11-PDV-F068B.
d. Manually OPERATE the following valves as required.

(1) RHR Service Water Booster Pumps B and D Inboard Isolation Valve, 2-SW-V105 M B.1 (2) Service Water To RHR Service Water Header

() Cross-tie Valve, 2-SW-V102 (3) Nuclear Service Water To Vital Header laboard Isolation Valve, 2-SW-V117

_13. PERFORM the following to prevent spurious operation of Nuclear Header To RBCCW Heat Exchangers Isolation Valve, 2-SW-V106.

a. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the OFF position for Nuclear Header To RBCCW Heat Exchangers Isolation Valve, 2-SW-V106 at MCC 2XA compartment DE3,
b. Manually OPERATE Nuclear Header To RBCCW Heat Exchangers Isolation Valve, 2-SW-V106 as required.
14. IF operation of RHR Service Water System is required AND RHR

.Tirvice Water Booster Pumps are NOT_ available, THEN RTETR to

, OP-43.

15. To DEPRESSURIZE the reactor to achieve cold shutdown, THEN_ OPEN

} AND Leave OPEN SRV 2-821-F013F from the RTGB.

16. IF operation of Shutdown Cooling Outboard Suction Throttle Valve, 2-E11-F008 is required, AND power is NOT available from MCC 2XDB, THEN

b. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the ON position for RHR Suction Isolation Valve, 2-E11-TE08,

( ASSD FEED) at MCC 2XDA compartment B26.

c. IF 2-E11-F008 is required to be Open, THEN PLACE the TTose/0ff/Open Keylock Switch in the OTEF position, at MCC 2XDA compartment B26.
d. IF 2-E11-F008 is required to be Closed, THEN PLACE tee Close/Off/Open Keylock Switch in theWSE position, at MCC 2XDA compartment B26.
17. WHEN Shift Foreman determines:
a. Diesel Generator Building doors that were opened / blocked open for Diesel Generator ventilation are no longer required to be open. THEN RESTORE all Diesel Generator Building doors that were opened on Attachment 1 to the closed position.
