C. ENTRY C0!40!T!0?4 This procedure is entered from Alternative Safe Shutdown Index ASSD-01.

1. A fire has occurred in an area containing Alternative Safe Shutdown Train A equipacnt, Af4D
2. The Shift Forenan has determined that the reactor is to be brought to Cold Shutdown using Alternative Safe Shutdown Train B.

Tne purpose of this procedure is to provide supplemental actions to be used concurrently with E0P's and other operations procedures to achieve, ,

and maintain Cold Shutdown coincident with or without a 72 nour loss of off-site power. K 15..L D. OPERATOR ACTIONS

1. IF while executing this procedure, the fire is extinguished AND tiie Snitt Foremen determines that no action within this procedure is required. THEN Exli this procedure.
2. OBSERVE the following parameters on instruments indicated while performing actions to achieve and maintain cold shutdown.

Instrument location 2-CAC-TR-778 Suppression Pool Water Temperature Remote Shutdown Panel 2-CAC-L1-3342 Torus Level Remote Snutdown Panel 2-C32-PI-3332 Reactor Pressure Remote Shutdown Panel 2-B21-L1-R604BX Reactor Water Level Remote Shutdown Ponel

3. IF reactor building A!4D/0R service water building AND/0R diesel gJnerator building encry is required to restore 3 monlior equipment. THEN
a. DISPATCH the following minimum manpower for performance of this procedure:

Reactor Building - 2 Auxiliary Operators Service Water Building - 1 Auxiliary Operator Diesel Generator Builcing - 1 Auxiliary Operator BSEP-2/ A550-23 Page 3 of 15 Rev. O

b. OBTAIN the following keys from the Shift Foreman's Key Locker (1) ASSO Equipment Cabinet Key #148 (1) ASSD Flashlight Tool Box Key #160
c. OBTAIN Security Access Keys from SAS Security Of ficer located in tne Control Room AND PROCURE the following equipment frou the ASSD Fquipment Cabinet:

For Diesel Generator Building

_ (1) Flashlight (1) Copy of this procedure (1) Security Access Key (14) Door Wedge Blocks For Reactor Building

__(2) Flashlights (2) Sound powered phones (2) Twenty-five foot sound powcred phone *'

extension cords (2) Copies of this procedure g a, f (4) Retnote Shutdown Keys, Serial T112

_ (2) Security Access Keys For Service Water Building (1) Flashlight (1) Sound powered phone (1) Twenty-five foot sound powered phone extension cord

d. USE appropriate figures in this procedure to provide access /cgress routes, equipment and comunication locations.
4. PLACE Reactor Water Level "NORMAL / LOCAL" switen, 2-B21-CS-3345 at tne Remote Shutdown Panel, to the "LOCAL" position to make level indicator 2-B21-LI-R604BX operable.
5. !F Diesel Generator operation is required, THEN BLOCK OPEN Fiesel Generator Builoing doors, as indicated on Attachment 1, to establish ventilation for Diesel Generator operations.
6. VERIFY a flow path DOES NOT exist from the nuclear to conventional neacer througn Conventional Service Water Pep 2A l Discharge Valves by performing the following:

a. PLACE the breaker control switch in the OFF position for Conventional Service Water Pump 2A Discharge Valve To Conventional Header, 2-SW-113, at MCC 2PA compartment E07.
b. PLACE the breaker control switch in the OFF position for Conventional Ser, ice Water Pump 2A Discharge Valve To Nuclear Header, 2-SW-V14, at MCC 2PA compartment EOS.
c. VERIFY Closed OR Manually CLOSE Conventional Service Water Pump 2A Discharge Valve to EITHER the Nuclear Header, 2-SW-V14 OR Conventional }icader, 2-SW-V13.
7. IF RBCCW Heat Exchangers Service Water Inlet Valve, 2-SW-V100 UNNOT be operated from the RTGB, THEN Manually OPERATE T-TRW106.
8. IF Vital Header Cross-tie Valve, 2-SW-V118 CANNOT be operated Trom the RfGB, THEN Manually OPERATE 2-SW-VTB.
9. IF operatio' of RHR Service Water System is required AND RHR Tirvice Water Booster Pumps are _NOT available _THEN RTFE'R to 0P-43. ,,

10.lF operation of RCIC Steam Supply Inboard Isolation Valve,

a. PLACE the circuit breaker control switen in the OFF position for RCIC Steam Supply Inboard Isolation Valve, 2-E51-F007, at MCC 2XC compartment 054.
b. PLACE the circuit breaker contr,1 switch in the ON position for RCIC Steam Supply Line Isolation VaTve, 2-E51-F007, ( ASSD FEED) at MCC 2XD compartment OY1.
