C. ENTRY CONDITION This procedure is entered from Alternative Safe Shutdown Index ASSD-01.

1. A fire has occurred in an area containing Alternative Safe Shutdown Train B equipment.

2. The Shift Foreman has determined that the reactor is to be brought to Cold Shutdown using Alternative Safe Shutdown Train A.

The purpose of this procedure is to provide supplemental actions to be used concurrently with E0P's and other operations procedures to achieve RB.) and maintain Cold Shutdown coincident with or without a 72 hour loss of off-site power. D. OPERATOR ACTIONS

1. IF while executing this procedure, the fire is extinguished IR) the Shift Foreman detennines that no action is required.

TATH EXIT this procedure.

2. OBSERVE the following parameters on instruments indicated while performing actions to achieve and maintain cold shutdown.

Instrument Location 1-CAC-TR-4426-1 Suppression Pool Temp. (Pt. 1) Control Room Panel 1 CAC-LR-2602 Torus Level Control Room Panel 1-C32-PI-R605A Reactor Pressure Control Room Panel 1-C32-LI-R606A Reactor Water Level Control Room Panel 3.I JF, diesel generator building AND/OR reactor building entry is required to restore OR, monitor equipment, THEN

a. DISPATCH the following minimum manpower for

c. 08TAIN Security Access Keys from SAS Security Officer located in the Control Room AND PROCURE the following equipment from the ASSD RuipmentCabinet:

For Diesel Generator Building (1 Flashlight 1 Copy of this procedure 1 Security Access Key - 14) Door Wedge Blocks For Reactor Building 1 Flashlight

4. IF Diesel Generator operation is required, THEN 8 LOCK OPEN VTesel Generator Building doors, as indicated on Attachment 1, to establish ventilation for Diesel Generator operations.

5. IF Nuclear Service Water to Vital Header Valve,1-SW-V117 UNNOT be operated from the RTGB, THEN Manually OPERATE 1-5W-V117.
6. IF Nuclear Service Water Supply Valve,1-SW-V105 CANNOT be operated from the RTGB, THEN Manually OPERATE 1-SW-VID5.

7. IF Conventional - Nuclear Header Cross-tie Valve,1-SW-V102
               ;            UNNOT be operated from the RTGB, THEN Manually OPERATE l-5W-V102.
8. IF operation of RHR Service Water System is required AND RHR Tervice Water Booster Pumps are NOT available, THEN RUDt to l OP-43.

9. IF operation of HPCI Steam Supply Inboard Isolation Valve,

a. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the OFF position for HPCI Steam Supply Inboard Isolation Vilve,1-E41-F002, at MCC 1XD compartment OW1.
b. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the ON position for HPCI Steam Supply Line Isolation VaWe, 1-E41-F002, ( ASSD FEED) at MCC 1XC compartment DSI.
c. IF 1-E41-F002 is required to be Open THEN_ PLACE the ESD Keylock Control Switch in the OPEN position, at MCC IXC compartment DS1.
d. IF 1-E41-F002 is required to be Closed. THEN PLACE W e ASSD Keylock Control Switch in the C W position, at MCC IXC compartment 051.
10. IF operation of HPCI Turbine Exhaust Vacuum Breaker Valve, T E41-F079, is required AND power is NOT available from MCC IXB, THEN
a. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the OFF position for HPCI Turbine Exhaust Vacuum Breaker gj Valve,1-E41-F079, at MCC IXB compartment DQO.

d. IF 1-E41-F079 is required to be Closed. THEN PLACE We ASSD Keylock Control Switch in the CM position, at MCC 1XC compartment DT2.
11. IF operation of Shutdown Cooling Outboard Suction Isolation Wive,1-E11-F008 is required AND power is NOT available from MCC IXDB, THEN
a. VERf ^ v' OR PLACE the circuit breaker control swit - 'tW OFF position for Shutdown Cooling

b. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch on the ON-position for RHR Suction 1 solation Valve, 1-E11-F008, ( ASSD FEED) at MCC 1XDA compartment B26.

d. IF 1-E11-F008 is required to be Closed. THEN PLACE We Close/Off/Open Keylock Switch in tho'TMSE position, at HCC 1XDA compartment B26.

12 . WHEN the Shift Foreman determines:

a. Diesel Generator Building doors that were opened / blocked open for Diesel Generator ventilation are no longer required to be open, THEN RESTORE all Diesel Generator Building doors that were opened on Attachment I to the closed position.
