C. ENTRY CONDITION This procedure is entered from Alternative Safe Shutdown Index ASS 0-01.

1. Danage to Train B
a. A fire has occurred in an area containing Alternative Safe Shutdown Train B equipment.

AND

b. The Shif t Foreman has determined that the reactor is to be brought to Cold Shutdown using Alterative Safe Shutdown Train A.

2. Damage to Train A
a. A fire has occurred in an area containing Alternative Safe Shutdown Train A equipcent, AND
b. The Shift Foreman has determined that the reactor is to be brought to Cold Shutdown using Alternative Safe Shutdown Train 8.

The purpose of this procedure is to provide supplemental actions to be used concorrently with E09's and other operations procedures to achieve and maintain Cold Shutdown coincident with or without a 72 hour8.333333e-4 days <br />0.02 hours <br />1.190476e-4 weeks <br />2.7396e-5 months <br /> loss of off-site power.

D. OPER ATOR ACTIONS

1. !F, while executing this procedure, the fire is extinguished AND tne Shif t Foreman determines that no action within this procedure is required, THEN EXIT this procedure.
2. WHEN inf ormed of which safe shutdown train Unit 2 is using, TREY initiate a shutdown using the same train.

a. REFER to Section I of this procedure to initiate an A Train shutdown, OR
b. REFER to Section 11 of this procedure to initiate a B Train shutdown.

SECTION I A TRAIN SHUTDOWN

1. OBSERVE the following parameters on instruments indicated while performing actions to achieve and maintain cold shutdown.

Instrument location 1-CAC-TR-4426-1 Suppression Pool Temperature Control Room Panel 1-CAC-LR-2602 Torus level Control Room Panel 1-C32-PI-R605 Reactor Pressure Control Room Panel 1-C32-LI-R606A Reactor Water Level Control Room Panel

2. IF reactor building entry is required to restore OR monitor Wuipment,THEN
a. DISPATCH the following minimum manpower for performance of this procedure:

Reactor Building - 1 Auxiliary Operator

b. OBTAIN the following keys from the SOS Key Locker (1) ASSO Equipment Cabinet Key #148 (1) ASSD Flashlight Tool Box Key #160 ,,

AND PROCV:E the following equipment from the ASSO Qtiipmed Cabinet: R S.:

For Reactor Building (1) Flashlight (1) Sound powered phone (1) Copy of this procedure (3) Remote Shutdown Keys, Serial T112 (1) Security Access Key

, (t) Twenty-five foot sound powered phone extension cord

c. USE appropriate figures in this procedure to provide access / egress routes, equipment and communication locations. (Normal communications may not be available.)
3. IF Nuclear Service Water to Vital Header Valve,1-SW-Vll7 U NNOT be operated from the RTGB, THEN Manually OPERATE 1-5W-V117.

4 IF Nuclear Service Water Supply Valve,1-SW-V105 CANNOT be Serated f rom the RTGB, EE,,N Manually 0PERATE 1-SW-V105.

5. IF Conventional-Nuclear Header Cross-tie Valve,1-SW-V102 UNNOT be operated f rom the RTGB, THEN Manually 0PERATE l-5W-V102.

a. PLACE the circuit 'reaker control switch in the OFF position for HPCI team Supply Inboard Isolation Valve,1-E41-F002, at MCC 1XD compartment DW1.
b. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the ON position for HPCI Steam Supply Line Isolation VaTve, 1-E41-F002, ( ASSD FEED) at MCC IXC compartment 051.

, c. IF 1-E41-F002 is required to be Open, THEN PLACE the 75SD Keylock Control Switch in the OPEN position, at MCC IXC compartment DSI.

d. IF 1-E41-F002 is required to be Closed. THEN PLACE tee ASSD Keylock Control Switch in the CTOTE position, at MCC IXC compartment DSI.
8. IF operation of HPCI Turbine Exhaust Vacuum Breaker Valve.
