C. ENTRY CONDITION This procedure is entered from Alternative Safe Shutdown Index ASSD-01. I

1. A fire has occurred in an area containing Alternative Safe Shutdown Train B equipment.

2. The Shift Foreman has determined that the reactor is to be brought to Cold Shutdown using Alternative Safe Shutdown -

Train A.

The purpose of this procedure is to provide supplemental actions to be used concurrently with E0Ps and other operations procedures to achieve and maintain Cold Shutdown coincident with or without a 72 hour8.333333e-4 days <br />0.02 hours <br />1.190476e-4 weeks <br />2.7396e-5 months <br /> loss of /tp, l off-site power.

1. IF while executing this procedure, the fire is extinguished l lib the Shift Foreman determines that no actio within this ~

procedure is required THEN EXIT this procedure. '

2. OBSERVE the following parameters on instruments indicated I while performing actions to achieve and maintain cold  ;

shutdown.

Instrument Location 1-CAC-TR-4426-1 Suppression Pool Temp. (Pt.1) Control Room Panel 1-CAC-LR-2602 Torus Level Control Room Panel 1-C32-PI-R605 A Reactor Pressure Control Room Panel 1-C32-LI R606A Reactor Water Level Control Room Panel

a. DISPATCHthefolletingminimummanpo}werfor performance of this procedure:

, b. OBTAIN the following keys from the SOS Key Locker (1) ASSDEquipmentCabketKey#148 (1) ASSD Flashlight Tool Box Key #160 AND PROCURE the following equipment from the ASSD Tg71pment Cabinet.

For Reactor Building (1) Flashlight (1) Sound powered phone "

(1) Twenty-five foot . sound powered phone extension cord (1 Copy of this procedure (3 Remote Shutdown Keys, Serial T112 (1 Security Access Key '-

comunication locations. .(Normal comunications may not be available.)

1 4 IF Nuclear Service Water To Vital Header Valve,1-SW-V117 MNOT be operated from the RTGB,._THEN Manually OPERATE  !

IF Nuclear Service Water Supply Valve,1 SW-Y105 CANNOT be Serated from the RTGB, _THEN Manually OPERATE 1-SW-V105.

6 IF Conventional-Nuclear Header Cross-tie Valve, 1-SW-Y102 MNOT be operated from the RTGB, THEN Hanually OPERATE 1-SW-V102.

_ NOTE Unit 2 will perform the actions in the Diesel Generator Building necessary to restore power to Emergency Buses El and E3 as required.

7. IF operation of Rm Service Water System is required AND RHR Tervice Water Booster Pumps are NOT available, THEN RU'Dt to OP-43.

8 IF operation of HPCI Steam Supply Inboard Isolation Valve.

M41-F002 is required AND power is NOT available from MCC 1XD, THEN

a. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the OFF position for HPCI Steam Supply Inboard Isolation Valve,1-E41-F002, at MCC 1XD compartment DW1.

b. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the ON (W~'h position for HPCI Steam Supply Line Isolation ~

Yalve,1-E41-F002, at MCC IXC compartment DS1.

c. IF 1-E41-F002 is required to be Open THEN PLACE We ASSD Keylock Control Switch in the M position, at MCC IXC compartment 051.
d. IF 1 E41-F002 is required to be Closed. THEN PLACE tTe ASSD Keylock Control Switch in the CT65T position, at MCC 1XC compartment DSI.

9 IF operation of HPCI Turbine Exhaust Vacuum Breaker Valve, R41 F079, is required AND power is NOT available from MCC 1XB,_THEN

4. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the OFF position for HPCI Turbine Exhaust Yacuum Breaker Velve,1-E41-F079, at MCC 1XB compartment DQO.
b. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the ON position for HPCI Turbine Vacuum Breaker Valve, -

1-E41-F079. (ASSD FEED) at MCC 1XC compartment DT2

c. IF 1-E41.F079 is required to be Open, THEN PLACE tTe ASSD Keylock Control Switch in theM position, at MCC IXC compartment DT2. R 8.1
d. IF 1-E41'-F079 is required to be Closed. THEN PLACE We ASSD Keylock Control Switch in the cE51T position, at MCC IXC compartment DT2.

10 IF operation of Shutdown Cooling Outboard Suction Isolation Ya'Ive,1-E11-F008 is required AND power is NOT available from MCC IXi)B, THEN

a. VERIFY OFF OR PLACE the circutt breaker control switch in tW OFF position for Shutdown Cooling Outboard Suction isolation Valve, 1-E11-F008, at MCC 1XDB compartment 850.
b. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the ON ~

' position for RHR Suction Isolation Valve, I

1-E11-F008, (ASSD FEED) at MCC 1XDA compartment B26,

c. IF 1-E11-F000 is required to be Open THEN PLACE i Ue Close/Off/Open Keylock Switch in the OPEN position, at MCC 1XDA compartment 826

d. IF 1-E11-F008 is required to be Closed, THEN PLACE We Close/Off/Open Keylock Switch in the W SE position, at MCC 1XDA compartment B26.

h a. Power is available from MCC 1XD for operation of HPCI Steam Supply Inboard Isoletion Yalve, 1-E41-F002. THEN (1) PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the ON position for HPCI Steam Supply Inboard 7 solation Valve,1-E41-F002, at MCC 1X0 compartment DW1.
