Distribution Panel IB (2) PLACE circuit breaker No. 3 in the OFF position for Diesel Generator No. 2 Alternate Power Supply for Annunciator, Start, and Load circuit, at 125V D.C. Distribution Panel 28.
NOTE Two (2) operators are required for racking 4160KV breakers into the connected position.

At 4KV Bus E2 Compt AH8, Tie Breaker Emerg Swgr El, PERFORM the following.
(1) Using the screwdrivers provided, remove the cover plate from over the manual closing lever.
(2) RACK the 4160 breaker to CONNECTED position (3)
INSTALL the charging spring motor fuses ONLY.

(5) VERIFY charging springs are charged.

At 4KV Bus E2 Compt AH9, Tie Breaker Emerg Swgr E4, PERFORM the following.
(1) Using the screwdrivers provided, remove the cover plate from over the manual closing lever.
(2) RACK the 4160 breaker to CONNECTED position.

INSTALL the charging spring motor fuses ONLY.
(4) PLACE the charging spring motor toggle switch in ON position.
(5) VERIFY charging springs are charged.

PERFORM the following at Diesel Generator No. 4 local control panel.
(1) START Diesel Generator No. 4 by depressing Emergency Start push button.
(2) ADJUST generator frequency to 60 hertz with governor motor control switch.
(3) ADJUST generator stator voltage to 4.16KV using voltage adjusting rheostat.
(4) PLACE synchronizing switch labeled "SYNCHRONIZING GENERATOR" in the "0N" position.
(5) CLOSE Diesel Generator No. 4 Output breaker by placing control switch labeled "GENERATOR CIRCUIT BREAKER" in the "CLOSED" position.
(6) PLACE synchronizing switch labeled "SYNCHRON!21NG GENERATOR" in the "0FF" positlon.

At 480V Unit Substation ES:

(1) CLOSE alternate source breaker at 480V Unit Substation E5, located inside compartment FM9.
(2) OPEN normal source breaker at 480V Unit Substation ES, located inside compartment FM9.
(3) PLACE the NORM / LOCAL keylock switch located on compartment FM9, in LOCAL position.
(4) VERIFY Closed OR CLOSE, Sub ES 480V Main Breaker AU9, bTplacing local control switch, located on compartment FM9, in CLOSE position.
7 WHFN the fire has been extinguished, THEN "0 PEN" remaining doors, per Attachment 1, for additional ventilation.
