C. ENTRY CO,NDITION This procedure is entered from Alternative safe Shutdown Index ASSD-01,
- 1. A fire has occurred in an area containing Alternative Safe Shutdown Train A equipment, AND
- 2. The Shift Forenan has determined that the reactor is to be brought to Cold Shutdown using Alternative Safe Shutdown Train B.
The purpose of this procedure is to provide supplemental actions to be-- R B.l used concurrently with E0Ps and other operations procedures to achieve and maintain Cold Shutdown coincident with or without a 72 hour8.333333e-4 days <br />0.02 hours <br />1.190476e-4 weeks <br />2.7396e-5 months <br /> loss of of f-site power.
D. OPERATOR ACTIONS
- 1. IF while exec ting this procedure, the fire is extinguished AND IIIe Shift Foreman determines that no action within this procedure is required EEN EXIT this procedure.
- 2. OBSERVE the following parameters on instruments indicated while performing actions to achieve and maintain cold shutdown.

(1) Copy of this procedure (1) Security Access Key (14) Door Wedge Blocks
- d. USE appropriate figures in this procedure to provide access / egress routes, equipment and CoCUunication locations.
- 4. PLACE _ Reactor Water Level "NORMAL / LOCAL" switch,1-B21-05-3345 at the Remote Shutdown Panel, to the "LOCAL" position to make level indicator 1-B21-L1-R604BX operable.
- 5. IF Diesel Generator operation is required, _THEN BLOCK "0 PEN" VI'esel Generator Building doors, as indicated on Attachment 1, to establish ventilation for Diesel Generator operations.
- 6. IF RBCCW Heat Exchangers Service Water Inlet Valve,1-SW-V106 TKNNOT be operated from the RTGB, THEN Manually OPERATE F5V-T106.
- 7. IF Vital Header Cross-tie Valve,1-SW-V118 CANNOT_ be operated Trom the RTGB, THEN Manually OPERATE 1-SW-V118.

- 8. IF operation of RHR Service Water System is required AND RHR T6rvice Water Booster Pumps are NOT available. THEN RUTR to OP-43.

- b. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the OFF position for RCIC Steam Supply 1.ine Isolation Valve, 1-E51-F007, (ASSD FEED) at MCC IXD compartment DY1.
- c. IF 1-E51-F007 is required to be Open _THEN PLACE the HSD Keylock Control Switch in the OPEN position, at NCC 1XD compartment DY1.
- d. IF 1-E51-F007 is required to be Closed THEN PLACE the ESD Keylock Control Switch in the CLOSE position, at MCC 1XD compartment DY1.
10 IF operation of RCIC Turbine Exhaust Vacuum Breaker Valve.
TQ51-F062 is required AND power is NOT available from MCC 1XA, THEN
- a. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the OFF position for RCIC Turbine Cxhaust Vacuum Breaker Valve,1-E51-F062, at MCC IXA compartment DE4 R B.I
- b. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the OFF position for RCIC Turbine Vacuum Breaker Valve, 1-E51-F062, ( ASSD FEED) at MCC IXD compartment DW2.

- c. IF 1-E51-F062 is required to be Open,_THEN_ PLACE the i
ESD Keylock Control Switch in the OPEN position, at MCC 1XD compartment DW2.
- d. IF 1-E51-F062 is required to be Closed THEN PLACE the ESD Keylock Control Switch in the CLOSE position, at MCC 1XD compartment DW2.
