C. ENTRY CONDITION This procedure is entered from Alternative Safe Shutdown Index ASSD-01.

1. A fire has occurred in an area containing Alternative Safe Shutdown Train B equipment, AND
2. The Shift Foreman has determined that the reactor is to be brought to Cold Shutdown using Alternative Safe Shutdown Train A.

The purpose of this procedure is to provide supplemental actions to be used concurrently with E0Ps and other operations precedures to achieve and maintain Cold Shutdown coincident with or without a 72 hour8.333333e-4 days <br />0.02 hours <br />1.190476e-4 weeks <br />2.7396e-5 months <br /> loss of f( g , f '

qp off-site power.

D. OPERATOR ACTIONS

1. IF while executing this procedure, the fire is extinguished i 7}ID the Shift Foreman detennines that no action within this procedure is required, THEN EXIT this procedure.
2. OBSERVE the following parameters on instruments indicated ,

while performing actions to achieve and maintain cold shutdown.

Instrument Location 2-CAC-TR-4426-1 Suppression Pool Temp. (Pt.1) Control Room Panel 2-CAC-LR-2602 Torus Level Control Room Panel 2-C32-PI-R605A Reactor Pressure Control Room Panel 2-C32-LI-R606A Reactor Water Level Control Room Panel

3. IF diesel generator building AND/OR reactor building entry is i

Tequired to restore g monitor equipment, THEN  !

a. DISPATCH the following minimum manpower for performance of this procedure: 4 1

c. OSTAIN Security Access Keys from SAS Security Officer located in the Control Room AND PROCURE the following equipment form the ASSD I @ pment Cabinet:

For Diesel Generator Building (2) Flashlights (2) Sound powered phones l (2) Twenty-five foot sound powered phone ,

extension cords ,

5. IF power is lost to 4KV Bus E3 AND CANNOT be restored, THEN RRFORM the following at 4KV BUTT 3  !
a. At 4KV Bus E3 Compt Alt, incoming Line Swgr 20 7 REMOVE control power fuses.  ;
b. TRIP Compt A12. Incoeing Line Swgr 20 by depressing  !

local Trip push butten. j

6. IF Diesel Generator No. 3 is NOT running, THEN PERFORM the (

c. PLACE synchroscope switch, Diesel Gen 3 to Bus E3 (A!5) in 0FF position. i
8. IF power is lost to 4KV Bus El AND CANNOT be restored, THEN lIDFORM the following at 4KV Bust 1.
a. At 4KV Bus El Cogt AE6, Incoming Line Swgr 10, REMOVE control power fuses.
b. TRIP Cogt AE6, Incoming Line Swgr 10 by depressing local Trip push button.
9. IF Diesel Generator No.1 is NOT running, THEN NOTIFY Unit 1 E START Diesel Generator No. I by performing the following:
a. DEPRESS Control Room Manual switch push button. R3
b. PLACE manual control switch in START position.  ;

IU 10 IF Diesel Gen 1 to Bus El (AE9) is NOT closed, ~THEN NOTIFY  !

performing the following:  !

I a. PLACE synchroscope switch Diesel Gen 1 to Bus E1 #

(AE9) in ON position,

c. PLACE synchroscope switch, Diesel Gen 1 to Bus El ,

(AES) in 0FF position. i

11. IF Nuclear Service Water To Vital Header Valve, 2-SW-V117 UhMOT be operated from the RTG8, THEN Manually OPERATE 2-SW-V117.
12. IF, Nuclear Service Water Supply Valve, 2-$W-V105, CANNOT be .

operated form the RTG8, THEN Manually OPERATE 2-SW-V105.  ;

13. IF Conventional-Nuclear Header Cross tie Valve, 2-SW-Y102, UNNOT be operated from the RTGB, THEN Manually OPERATE 2-SW-V102.

l 14 IF operation of RHR Service Water System is required AND RHR E..L Tervice Water Booster Pugs are NOT available, THEN RUD TO OP-43.
