6 Summary of Operating Experience March 1985 Indian Point Unit #3 was synchronized to the bus for a total of 707.75 hours8.680556e-4 days <br />0.0208 hours <br />1.240079e-4 weeks <br />2.85375e-5 months <br /> producing a gross generation of $89,750 MWe for this reporting period.
On March 1, 1985 reactor power was intentionally reduced from 100% to 85% power.
This reduction in daily fuel consumption is intended to extend our full cycle and ensure power operation until the planned June 1985 refueling outage.
On March 19, 1985 at 1314 hours0.0152 days <br />0.365 hours <br />0.00217 weeks <br />4.99977e-4 months <br /> reactor trip breaker RTB opened, initiating a unit trip. No irregularities were found during the extensive testing which was subsequently performed on the coils and relays of both reactor trip breakers.
The unit was returned to service on March 21, 1985 at 0129 hours0.00149 days <br />0.0358 hours <br />2.132936e-4 weeks <br />4.90845e-5 months <br />.
