Summary of Operatina Esperience i

i The unit was asintained at 1001 reactor power for the anth of August, j

except for the following reductions in power.

)

i On August 3, power was reduced to 732 when the esasured inlet temperature l

to the service water escoeded the limit of 85 degrees specified in the unit Technical Specifications.

power was further reduced to 651 on August 4 due to continued high river water temperatures.

On August 5, af ter NRC waiver was received to operate at 87'F Technical Specification limit on river water temperature, power ascensica to 1002 commenced.

1001 power was achieved on August 6 at 0200.

l The unit was maintained at 1001 reactor power for the remainder of the month, with the exception of a brief power reduction on August 27, to l

conduct a periodic turbine stop valve test.
