Centrol rod M-12 dropped during rod exercise testing on Decemb$r leth due to a faulty electrical connector on the control rod drive cochanise. The connector was adjusted and the control rod withdrawn and .

cade operable in seven hours. Due to the resulting xenon induced radial fluu tilt, reactor power was reduced to less than 50 percent in accordance with the requirements of the Technical Specifications. This restriction was lifted on December 18th permitting a return to full pgwer operation.
