License No. OPR-6 for the Big Rock Point Plant. This amendment confirms our oral authorization granted on October 14, 1988, and consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application dated July 5, 1988, I as modified on October 10, 1988.

l This amendment modifies the Big Rock Point Plant Technical Specifications by  :

replacing the requirements to partial-stroke test the Reactor Depressurization  :

System depressurizing valves nuarterly with a requirement to full-stroke test all tour depress'iriting valves each refueling outage.

Copies of the Safety Evaluation (SE) supporting this amendment and the Notice l of Issuante are enclosed. The SE prepared on October 14, 1988, to support our ,
