Vermont Yankee responded by letters dated November 7,1983, March 23,1984,

July. 3,.1985, June '2, .1986, July 1,1988, and December 23, 1988. . We have fcompleted. our review of Generic Letter 83-28, Item 2.2.1 and find that Vermont

. Yankee's response is acceptable. We have not yet completed our' review of -

Item.2.2.2; therefore, the TAC No.53728 will remain open.
