This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. M. Dev of this

office on February 22-26, 1988, at Seabrook Station, Seabrook, New Hampshire of

activities authorized by NRC License No. NPF-56 and to the discussions of our

findings held by Mr. M. Dev with Mr. D. Moody at the conclusion of the

inspection.

Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I

Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the

-inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative

records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.

Within the scope of.this inspection, no violations were identified. However,

the backlog of station maintenance werk orders and design coordination review

,

packages warrants your attention for their timely disposition.
